A screenshot of a FaceTime call between Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr has gone viral on social media after the latter signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

OBJ, one of the prime free agents this offseason, agreed on a one-year contract with the Ravens, the team announced. His deal is worth $18 million including $15 million guaranteed, a person familiar with the deal told the Associated Press. With the Super Bowl-winning wide receiver going to Baltimore, fans were excited to see him pair up with quarterback Lamar Jackson.

However, Jackson still has to extend his contract with the Ravens.

With OBJ in, fans are speculating that Lamar will agree on a deal. The franchise placed a non-exclusive franchise tag on him last month as the two parties struggled to strike a deal. He is open to negotiate with other teams.

“Lol. This deal will be hilarious if Lamar doesn’t sign. Boy gonna be stuck catching balls from Tyler Huntley. Imagine the video his dad is gonna be making of this by mid season. Should be a great implosion. Can’t wait to see it,” a Twitter user said.

“Keep Lamar Jackson in Baltimore 🙏🏼,” another one tweeted.

“Amazing job by Ravens GM Eric Decosta signing OBJ. Adds Super Bowl Experience and game breaking ability to their WR room. Having OBJ, Bateman, Mark Andrews, JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Likely and Duvernay allows this offensive to attack from every direction. NOW SIGN LAMAR JACKSON,” a third one tweeted.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson posted a FaceTime screenshot with Odell Beckham Jr on his Instagram story.

Beckham is 30 years old. He did not play the 2022 season following an ACL surgery. If and when paired with Lamar, the star wide receiver is expected to dominate other teams. Last year, the Ravens struggled in the passing game. WR Rashod Bateman played only six games and tight end Mark Andrews couldn’t make a dent.

Lamar, however, had brilliant figures.
