Welcome back to the Outer Banks. The second season of the Netflix adolescent drama has finally arrived after a lengthy wait. Fans are taking to social media to chat about the new season, which has returned to our televisions.
The soap opera drama revolves around John B. (Chase Stokes), a teen from North Carolina’s Outer Banks who is desperate to find a $400 million treasure that his father died while searching for.
His best friends, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, and Russ Pankow, agree to help him, and he falls in love with Sarah, a rich girl (Madelyn Cline). In their community, Sarah is known as a Kook or wealthy person. It’s no secret that the Pogues and the Kooks don’t get along. John B. and Sarah’s coupling ruffles some feathers.

All of this drama spills over into season two, where it continues to play out. Sarah and John B. pick up right where we left off. They have fled to the Bahamas because they believe John has been falsely accused of murder and the treasure is in the Bahamas. As a result, the first six episodes are dedicated to tying up loose ends from season one and finding the gold (finally!). This is followed by a new, more intense treasure hunt that includes all of the elements you loved in season one, plus a few new twists and turns.
This season’s storyline focuses on John B. and Sarah. They are still together, but tensions are high. They fled OBX for the Bahamas after Sarah’s father falsely accused John B. of the sheriff’s murder. Furthermore, the gold is said to be in Nassau.
