Melbourne weather and pitch report:

Melbourne is expected to experience a rainy weekend, with a 90% chance of rain falling when the games begin. Monday has been declared as a reserve day, although rain will still be a concern. The MCG pitch has provided decent bounce and carry, although this tournament’s average first-innings score of 167 is the second-highest among venues.

In knockout games, a match must last at least 10 overs per side to be considered complete. Every effort will be made by the officials to finish the game on Sunday. Before a reserve day is required, the overs will be decreased. If the game starts, stops, then starts again after that, it will start again at 15:00 local time on the reserve day.
