Adrian Griffin has reportedly been hired as Milwaukee Bucks’ new head coach. Nick Nurse and Kenny Atkinson were two others considered for the job.

Griffin will now replace Mike Budenholzer, as per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Shams Charania, NBA Insider for The Athletic, reported that Nurse pulled out of the process. Now fans are wondering where the former Toronto Raptors coach will go. Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers have come up as two options.

“This is big news on the Sixers coaching search I thought Milwaukee was the most likely landing spot for Nick Nurse so him not being selected likely means he has another team in mind. Either the Sixers or Suns is likely to be the selection,” a Twitter user said.

“Nick Nurse met with the Suns on Thursday, per @Gambo987. Now, he withdraws from the Bucks’ coaching search. Very, very interesting,” a second one added.
