Half-centuries from Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli motored Royal Challengers Bangalore to an eight-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals at the Sheik Zayed Stadium on Saturday. Calculated batting from the 20-year-old Padikkal set the tone for the match as his team chased down the target of 155 with five balls to go. Kohli, who hit his first fifty of the season, also notched up his 37th IPL fifty. Kohli (72 off 53 balls) was the highest run-scorer for his team. RCB now sits on top of the IPL points table.
