Referee Ron Torbert and his crew for the Kansas City Chiefs vs Cincinnati Bengals AFC title game were trolled for alleged biased calls. The two teams locked horns at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The winner will play the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.

“Should be 14-0 KC. Damn refs,” a Twitter user said.

“Refs taking points off the board for the Chiefs,” another one added.

“Chiefs “scored” twice and was called back. Refs have the under,” a third one tweeted.

“Wasn’t Ron torbert the same ref who was intimidated by the same chiefs fans during the regular season?! I guess I know how this game will be called. #CINatKC #CincinnatiBengals,” another said.

Pointing out an interesting coincidence, another tweeted: “The referee for the AFC Championship game tonight is Ron Torbert, a graduate of Harvard Law School. Is it a coincidence that Ryan Fitzpatrick, who once played for the Bills, went to Harvard undergrad, and that one of the teams in the game just beat the Bills? Highly unlikely.”

“The Bengals-Chiefs AFC title game draws an “all-star”officiating crew with Ron Torbert as referee. Home teams went 10-6 with Torbert, finishing the season with a five-game winning streak. The Bengals are 8-4 all-time with Torbert, the Chiefs 4-5,” wrote a fan before the start of the game.

“Do you know how much it sucks to honestly believe this? I wish I didn’t, but there has been too much from 3 refs in particular that I don’t trust. Ron Torbert, Carl Cheffers and Clete Blakeman. 5 years ago I never knew the refs names (except Ed Hochuli obviously),” said one expressing obvious concern and dislike for the team of referees.
