Robert Lewandowski has long signalled a desire to shift to Barcelona and the Polish striker finally completed a move to the top-flight La Liga club on July 16. Though the Catalans arrived in Miami for the pre-season friendly with Inter, it was reported that the 33-year-old striker and Xavi, the Barcelona coach, were not among the squad that arrived.
Lewandowski, instead, has a video of himself on the Miami beach.
The former Bayern Munich star is seen in a Barcelona jacket, standing atop a guard outpost, saying that he is “very happy to enjoy to Barcelona[sic]”. Lewandowski concludes his message by saying “Forca Barca”, meaning “come on” or “let’s go” Barcelona.

Ahead of the deal being finalized, Lewandowski had made his intent to move very clear, saying in a press conference “Bayern is a serious club and I hope they will not keep me just because they can. A transfer is the best solution for all parties”.
Barcelona have planned to build their squad around the talismanic striker who is expected to don the No 9 jersey when he goes onto the field for the Catalans.
Thus far, the La Liga side tied in their friendly against Olot on July 13, with both sides scoring a single goal.
