One lucky punter has won more than £300,000, thanks to his accurate winner predictions of all seven races conducted on day four at Royal Ascot.

The anonymous punter’s remarkable bets, which had odds of 122,889/1, cost gambling company William Hill a whopping amount of £307,464.02.

The anonymous punter scooped in the sum by placing a £2.50 each-way bet and nailing each of the seven races that took place on Friday afternoon.

“Many of our customers try going through the card at the bigger meetings like Royal Ascot or Cheltenham but few manage it,” said Tony Kenny, a spokesperson for William Hill.

“However, one pulled off the incredible feat of successfully choosing all seven winners on the penultimate day of the royal meeting a frankly ridiculous price of 122,889-1,” Kenny added, according to The Sun.

“The £2.50 each-way bet on Meditate, Perfect Power, Candleford, Inspiral, Heredia, Changingoftheguard and Latin Lover won them £307,464.02 showing that with a bit of luck these huge-priced accumulators can come off,” he added.

“Meditate is professional. Aidan could not have had her any better today. She did everything beautifully. She was out ahead of everything else and we didn’t expect to be in front as she was waiting for something every time she was there,” jockey Ryan Moore said.

“She kept finding a bit more. She has a lovely relaxed way of going. She is a lovely filly who has a bit of class. You need class when you are making the running here over six furlongs,” he added.
