Ryan Tannehill, quarterback of the Tennessee Titans, passed to tight end Austin Hooper for a touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday. The two sides locked horns at the Lambeau Field.

Early in Q4, Tannehill went to Hooper. The ball slipped between two defenders and popped out. After a review, the referees found that the pass was complete and the TE carried it well enough for a score. With the touchdown, Tennessee took a 27-17 lead. 

The touchdown was also the first the Titans have scored in the fourth quarter this season.

However, Tannehill soon was intercepted by Douglas and Green Bay carried the ball over from the 34 yard line. 

“Ryan Tannehill is COOKING! 🍳” the Tennessee Titans tweeted along with the video of the quarterback’s second touchdown pass of the night. 

“Ryan Tannehill playing like god rn,” a Twitter user praised the player. 

Tannehill, rostered by 16% fantasy managers on Yahoo, had more than 280 passing yards against the Green Bay Packers. He popped up on Monday’s estimated practice report with an ankle injury.

He was injured during the Titans’ 19-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.

Against the Denver Broncos, Tannehill scored 19.40 fantasy points. He passed for 255 yards for two touchdowns and rushed for 12 yards. 

“Even with the INT, Ryan Tannehill has been better than Aaron Rodgers tonight,” a social media user said on Twitter.

“Ryan Tannehill has been awesome tonight,” another one added. 

In his first six starts this season, Tannehill threw for 1,097 yards and six touchdowns against three interceptions with a 65.1 completion percentage. The 34-year-old is 34-15 since he joined the Tennessee Titans in 2019.
