San Francisco 49ers players were seen dancing around at the Lumen Field ahead of their Thursday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks. Jimmie Ward snatched a fan’s sign and stomped on it.

The two teams are vying for the top spot on the NFC West league table. Both have played 13 matches so far this season. While the 49ers have won nine and lost four, the Seahawks, on the other hand, have won seven and lost six.

Brock Purdy has once again been included in the 49ers’ lineup as the quarterback. He received his first start of the season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 14 encounter due to the injury of Jimmy Garoppolo. He has been included in the 49ers’ squad this year, after being picked up by the side in the 2022 NFL Draft.

In their victory against the Buccaneers, the 49ers also suffered another major setback when wide receiver Deebo Samuel picked up injuries to the ankle and knee.

Despite the injuries, the 49ers have been impressive this season. The last match they lost was before Halloween

The 49ers-Seahawks rivalry is one of the most storied rivalries in NFL history. The first match between these two sides was played in 1976. However, their rivalry did not solidify until 2002, when they were placed together in the NFC West. The Seahawks have proven to be the stronger side since their first meeting.

From 2010 to 2014 any one between these two teams won the NFC West division. The largest victory for the 49ers was in 1988, when they beat the Seahawks by 38–7. The Seattle franchise’s largest victory was in 2005, when they won with a scoreline of 41-3.
