Out of seven tosses this season, Sanju Samson has lost six. On Friday, the Rajasthan Royals skipper lost the toss against the Delhi Capitals. Rishabh Pant and co will bowl first at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals went unchanged for the tie.
The only time Samson won the toss was against the Gujarat Titans on April 14. He has not called first on the six other occasions - versus the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, Lucknow Super Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Talking about losing tosses so often this season, Samson chuckled and set that they were getting out of his control.
"Toss is something which is not in my control, but it is definitely getting out my control a lot (*chuckles*)," the RR skipper said.
He added that the team had discussed about both situations - batting or bowling first.
" We have done well but it is important to move on and then focus on the current game and give our best today. Same team for us," Samson said after losing the toss against the Delhi Capitals.
Rishabh Pant after winning the toss said that the Delhi Capitals aims to improve as a team.
"We will bowl first. Told the boys not to focus on the outside and keep backing each other. We are gonna be talking about the same thing, end of the day we are looking to improve as a team. We are playing the same team. Anything around 150-160 would be good," Pant said after winning the toss.
