Indian wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson was not included in the 2nd and 3rd T20I against England despite an impressive 77-run knock in the 2nd T20I against Ireland earlier this week. This decision by the management has left fans fuming, some of whom took to social media to express their anger and disappointment.

“Wow, Sanju Samson has been omitted from the last two T20Is? Wow. Clearly some deep bias there, nothing else explains this,” one Twitter user wrote.

“It doesn’t matter to BCCI whether Sanju Samson performs or not. They just want to waste his talent. Even after scoring good runs in the last match, BCCI only saw what Deepak Hooda did,” another user tweeted.

Another fan tweeted, “No wonder Sanju Samson has so many fans, bcci has made the entire country his fan with their injustice. Scored 77 in the only chance he got in comeback, still a 48 match failure rishabh pant is playing over him.”

The 27-year-old was not included in India’s playing XI for the first T20I against Ireland. In the second T20I, Samson slammed his maiden T20I fifty in just 31 balls. The half-century came in his 15th T20I match, almost seven years after he made his debut for India in the format. Deepak Hooda, on the other hand, scored 104 off 57 balls.
