Stefon
Diggs is a wide receiver who plays for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football
League (NFL). One of the best in his position, Diggs is coming off the back of the
best season of his pro career and will enter the 2021-22 season as one of the
most sought-after wide receivers.

Player Bio:

Born on
November 29, 1993 in Alexander Virginia, Diggs attended the Our Lady of Good Counsel
High School in Montgomery County, Maryland, where he played football and ran
track. After a few good seasons in high school football, he was selected in the
All-metro selection at wide-receiver by the Washington Post.

He was also named MVP
of the IS Army All-American Junior Combine in 2011 and invited to play in the
2012 US Army All-American Bowl.

He accepted
an athletic sponsorship to attend the University of Maryland, where he continued
his football career under coach Randy Edsall with the Maryland Terrapins football
team. Over three seasons, he recorded 150 receptions for 2,227 receiving yards
and 14 receiving touchdowns.

Career
highlights and records:

After three
years of college football, Diggs decided to forgo his senior seasons and entered
the 2015 NFL Draft. He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round
(146th overall), signing a $2.5 million, four-year contract.

He played
with the Vikings for five seasons, recording 365 receptions for 4,586 receiving
yards and 30 receiving touchdowns.

He was then
traded to the Buffalo Bills ahead of the 2020-21 season, the most impactful of
his career so far. For the season, he tallied 127 receptions and 1,535 yards, leading
the NFL in both along with eight touchdowns. He was rewarded with a Pro-Bowl
inclusion and also named in the All-Pro team.

Fantasy performance:

Over his six-year
career, Diggs has accumulated 855.5 fantasy points at an average of 9.8 per
game. However, he is coming off the back of  his most prolific year, having scored a total
of 201.6 points at an average of 12.6 per game in his maiden year for the
Bills.
