Stetson Bennett, the quarterback for Georgia, was detained early on Sunday on suspicion of public intoxication, according to a report from Dallas-based TV station WFAA. Bennett has made headlines recently for a variety of unflattering reasons in recent times. He faced a lot of backlash for spending a significant amount of the Bulldogs’ championship parade on his phone, and fans felt that his apologies to the people who felt belittled weren’t quite sincere.
