Group leaders Pakistan will take on the
Scotland cricket team in the 41st match of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Babar Azam’s men have already sealed a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament
having registered 4 wins in 4 group stage fixtures. They cruised past India,
New Zealand, Afghanistan and Namibia.

With India’s fate in hand, Afghanistan face New Zealand

The match will be played at the Sharjah
Cricket Stadium with both teams in opposing forms. While Pakistan have maintained
a perfect record, Scotland have failed to win any of their games in the Super
12 stage.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been in
red hot form and whenever they have slipped the middle order has stepped up to shoulder
the responsibility. They also boast of the six hitting machine Asif Ali who is
known to end the innings in style.

How India can still qualify for T20 World Cup 2021 semifinals

As for the bowling department Haris Rauf
and Shaheen Afridi have excelled. They have taken seven and five wickets
respectively. The spinners Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan have also been in good
form and controlled the economy rate in the middle overs. However, the form of
Hasan Ali is worrying.

On the other hand, Scotland’s form has
turned around completely after an amazing start in the qualification round.
They won their first three games of the tournament but have failed to win a single
encounter since then.
