This was an unusual move from the Buccaneers’ offense who lined up for the Wildcat formation after having advanced to Seattle’s 22-yard line. In a rare attempt to throw the football, Fournette threw over to the left side of the field, where Brady was running, who ultimately slipped on the ground and the pass was caught by cornerback Tariq Woolen for the first interception between both the teams.

In the same play, Brady was called for an unnecessary roughness call, after the referees saw his tripping the CB Woolen. This was his fifth interception in the league, tying for the most in the league this year. Brady was penalized for tripping, giving the Seahawks an additional 15 yards. This was Tampa Bay’s first interception thrown since Week 1 and it was Brady’s fifth career target, according to ESPN Stats & Information (including the playoffs). Woolen has been considered a top candidate for NFL’ Defensive Rookie of the Year alongside New York Jets’ Sauce Gardner. Both the players are now tied in the interceptions category, but Woolen has also scored an interception TD, giving him an edge over his rival.
