The United States will be participating in more than a dozen sporting events at the Tokyo Olympics on July 24 in Japan. The women’s air rifle event is scheduled for the day, where all eyes will be on Ali Weisz, who is associated with America’s armed forces as an instructor. 

When will the event be broadcasted?

The qualifying round will be broadcasted on July 23rd at 7:30 pm ET. After the preliminary round ends, the final will begin at 9:45 pm.

Where to watch the Olympic event?

The women’s 10-metre air rifle event will be broadcasted on USA Network on cable television. However, those who wish to view the match on live stream can log on to the NBC Olympics channel.

Ali Weisz, who will be at the centre stage for the audience in the United States, is a Fort Benning soldier and a professional rifle shooter, according to US media reports. She will be making her debut in the Olympic games

According to the US Team website, Weisz, who was born in South Dakota, got involved in her sport through a gun safety and education program out of a small club in Montana at age 9.

Other sporting events, where the United States will have a representation on July 24 (Tokyo time) include 3×3 Basketball, Badminton men’s double, softball, Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Fencing, Tennis, Water Polo among others, according to the official website of Tokyo Olympics.
