Tom Brady made 26 consecutive pass plays against the Kansas City Chiefs at the Raymond James Stadium on Sunday. This is the most the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has made in his two-decade long NFL career.

The 45-year-old connected 26 for 39 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns through the first three quarters. Kansas led 41-24 with seven minutes left on the clock. Brady threw 26 passes in a row. When the Chiefs had 130 rushing yards, the Bucs had three – worst in Tom Brady’s career.

The stats reflect on Tampa’s poor rushing game throughout the game. Their defense and special teams struggled too.

“Since the Buccaneers don’t appear interested in running the ball again tonight, Tom Brady has thrown 50 or more passes in a game 33 times and he’s 22-11 in those games. Five of those games since 2018, he’s 3-2. Patrick Mahomes has done that four times, he’s 2-2,” a Twitter user stated.

“I need to see a statistic, but I’m pretty sure Brady has the most throwaway passes in history,” another one added.

The quarterback got strip sacked in the second quarter. He was seen massaging his shoulder on the sideline. He made 10-15 throws on the sideline after he got hit.

“Tom Brady has been throwing passes on the sideline for the last 5 mins. It appeared he came up favoring his right shoulder/arm after the strip sack. No trainers have came up to him. But he has shook it out a couple times. He does have some good velocity on sideline throws,” a social media user tweeted.

“I am officially concerned about Tom Brady’s throwing shoulder. He got hit there and keeps grabbing it on the sideline. Let’s lose this game 100-10 as long as Tom is 100% healthy,” a Tampa fan wrote.
