Tom Brady, fuming at half-time, was seen throwing his tablet at half-time. The NFL GOAT was visibly frustrated playing against the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday. He was struggling.

In the first three quarters, the Saints held Brady to 14-for-24 passing with 142 yards. Marcus Davenport had a QB hit on him. The Tampa star was missing his starting wide receivers Julio Jones and Chris Godwin. Both injured. 

However, the story changed. An on-field scuffle inspired a Brady’s Bucs to a stunning 20-10 victory.

In the fourth quarter, Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore was seen jawing at Brady. The Tampa QB was shouting at Lattimore when running back Leonard Fournette entered the fray and shoved the Saints’ star cornerback.

Lattimore responded by shoving Fournette, and Mike Evans rushed in and flattened Lattimore. 

Evans and Lattimore were ejected.

After the incident, Tampa dominated the game. Brady, who had lost four straight regular-season meetings with the Saints, managed to guide his side to their second win this season. 

The GOAT was without all three of his starting WRs – Julio, Godwin and Evans. his defense, however, stepped up. They intercepted Jameis Winston three times in the final 12 minutes.

Jamel Dean made the first two picks — one on a deep pass intended for rookie Chris Olave at the goal line. Later, safety Mike Edwards returned an interception near the right sideline 68 yards for a touchdown to make it 20-3.

Brady finished 18 of 34 for 190 yards and the lone TD.

The Bucs QB had addressed his struggles against the Saints on Thursday. 

“That’s probably the thing that jumps out the most, turnovers. They’re a physical team. I think they beat us up, physically. It’s just a tough, hard-nosed team. They’re well-coached, they’ve got a lot of good players. They’ve kind of had a winning organization for a long time. They know how to get the job done,” Brady told reporters, according to ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio.
