It is a commonly known fact that offense is the best defense. There has been a shift in recent years, and dominant offenses are now in charge. Most offenses are so effective that it’s almost impossible for teams to limit their scoring. The key to winning games is having a superior offense. A team’s offense can score from any point on the field, and quarterbacks for the Kansas City Chiefs or Green Bay Packers hardly ever throw interceptions.

Now, Let’s have a look at the top 15 offensive teams going into the 2022 season:-

1) Buffalo Bills (AFC East) –

The 2021 Buffalo Bills were among the best teams to miss out on a Super Bowl appearance, and this year’s offense may be even stronger. Rodger Saffold has joined the offensive line, giving star QB Josh Allen even more support. James Cook, a potential third-down back, has also been added. Stefon Diggs continues to be one of the game’s top wide receivers, and Gabriel Davis’s late-season surge demonstrates that he can handle a bigger role.

2) Kansas City Chiefs (AFC West) –

The stats Patrick Mahomes has compiled over the course of his career are astounding, despite the fact that Tyreek Hill has helped him almost exclusively. Without the team’s deep threat, there will undoubtedly be a period of adjustment. The team added Juju Smith-Schuster and rookie Sky Moore for this. They have the best TE in Travis Kelce to provide extra offense as necessary.

3) Dallas Cowboys (NFC East) –

Dallas has been a relatively high offensive side for the last 3-4 years. They have been consistent in offense but mostly lack defense. The team has Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper to provide lethal offense and is supported by Ceedee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Ezekiel Elliot.

4) Los Angeles Chargers ( AFC West) –

Although the Chargers have failed to make the playoffs since Justin Herbert got drafted in the last two years. The offensive line is now helped by guard Zion Johnson (their 2022 first-round pick), Gerald Everett, in addition to Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, and explosive running back Austin Ekeler.

5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (NFC South) –

The Buccaneers have finished in the top three in terms of points for three straight seasons, but they must now deal with the departures of coach Bruce Arian and TE Rob Gronkowski. To energize their offense, QB Tom Brady has players like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage, and the re-emergence of running back Leonard Fournette.

6) Los Angeles Rams (NFC West) –

Cooper Kupp, the current Super Bowl MVP, signed an extension to continue playing for the Super Bowl champions. Allen Robinson will be of assistance to him this season. The offense becomes more dangerous if Cam Akers plays a full season, though losing left tackle Andrew Whitworth might hurt. Mathew Stafford will be looking to follow up his last season’s heroics.

7) Arizona Cardinals (NFC West) –

To improve their offense, Arizona added WR Marquise Brown to their roster and signed QB Kyler Murray to a long-term contract. The team’s point totals have increased for three straight seasons, and they could keep moving up the offensive charts.

8) Baltimore Ravens (AFC North) –

The Ravens have a precarious situation with QB Lamar Jackson not yet signed to a contract extension. They lost WR Marquise Brown in the off-season. Strengthening the offensive line was more important given the run-heavy offense, and the Ravens accomplished this by bringing in rookie Tyler Linderbaum and Morgan Moses. Mark Andrews and Rashod Bateman, two capable receiving options for the team, have demonstrated their abilities.

9)  Cincinnati Bengals (AFC North) –

Last season’s Super Bowl finalists, the Bengals have a good offense. Joe Mixon, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd remain Joe Burrow’s elite weapons. Cincy’s offensive line was the biggest issue, which has been addressed by  La’El Collins, Ted Karras, and Alex Cappa.

10) Green Bay Packer (NFC North) –

With back-to-back MVP awards, Aaron Rodgers continues to remain the best QB in the world. This year will be a challenge for the player because he no more has the service of  Davante Adams. He’ll have to get used to Christian Watson and Sammy Watkins quickly.  A healthy David Bakhtiari at left tackle could help, and the team has an impressive RB in the duo of  Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon.

11)  Las Vegas Raiders (AFC West) –

With Davantae Adams signing for the team, their ranking has gone up even more. Adams and QB Derek Carr have experience playing together in college. The hiring of Josh Mcdaniels as a coach can easily help the Raiders to make a deep playoff run.

12) Denver Broncos (AFC West) –

The addition of Russell Wilson and the hiring of Nathaniel Hackett can easily improve the Bronco’s offense, which has been in the bottom half of the NFL since 2015. They have Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon at running back which can help the quarterback.

13) Minnesota Vikings (NFC North) –

Kirk Cousins and the Viking’s offense gave finished in the top half of the league three years in a row. The offensive line is a concern, but the offense’s star power remains with the trio of Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen.

14) Philadelphia Eagles (NFC East) –

Last season, head coach Nick Sirianni adapted to a run-heavy scheme. That worked for Jalen Hurts, the quarterback. After re-signing Jason Kelce, the offensive line remains one of the best in the league, and A.J. Brown joins DeVonta Smith at wide receiver. Dallas Goedert has developed into one of the league’s best pass-catching tight ends.

15) Miami Dolphins (AFC East) –

The Dolphins also strengthened their offensive line with the additions of offensive tackle Terron Armstead and guard Connor Williams to go with WR Tyreek Hill from the Chiefs. Tua Tagovailoa will look to improve the Dolphin’s offense and look for a playoff run this year.
