In his speech on Sunday, Diesel said, “As a kid from New York, he used to dream about coming to a NBA game”.

While many congratulated him for finally achieving his dream, others called his speech “awkward” and questioned if he should even be introducing the game in the first place.

“Vin Diesel had no idea where he was lmao,” a Twitter user said.

“After that intro I am more convinced than ever that Vin Diesel is a robot. That could not have been a living breathing human…” another one added.

One of the Twitter users also jokingly questioned if Diesel paid the NBA for the introductions. Another remarked that NBA is pushing its luck this year by bringing in Malone and Diesel to the game.

Diesel commented in his speech, “We’re here to witness the best players in the world, to experience true competition in its pure form”. This stirred the internet with laughter as fans claim that the All-Star Games is not one for competition.

Among the several trolls, there were still some tweets appreciating Diesel’s introduction to the games. One Twitter user wrote, “Couldn’t think of anyone better to present the NBA All Star Game than Vin Diesel”.
