Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano intercepted a 2nd and 13 yards play from Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill to score a 43-yard touchdown. This gave the Bills a 41-7 lead in the third quarter of the Monday Night Football Game. This is the Bills’ second game of the 2022 NFL Season.

Tannehill unsuccessfully chased Milano as he ran towards the end-zone to complete the TD and increase the lead of the team.

 The Bills already had a comfortable lead against the Titans, where QB Tannehill had already thrown an interception prior to this play. So far, Matt Milano has two tackles with one assisted in the game. Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen has already thrown four touchdowns in the game.

Ryan Tannehill has often been criticized for his inconsistent plays. The player has a career 2:1 touchdown to interception ratio. The current Titans QB was drafted by the Miami Dolphins as the eighth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He is a one-time Pro Bowl player in his career, a feat he achieved in 2019. 

He has also been awarded the  NFL Comeback Player of the year award in 2019 with the Titans. That year, Tannehill performed exceptionally well as compared to previous seasons. In 12 games and 10 starts, he had 2,742 passing yards, 22 touchdowns, and six interceptions to go along with 43 carries for 185 yards and four touchdowns. 

LB Matt Milano was drafted by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He agreed to a four-year, $2.66 million contract that included a $261,506 signing bonus with the team.

He attended Boston College and played for their Eagles football team. So far in his NFL career, the player has 359 combined tackles out of which 241 are solo. He also has 6 interceptions and scored two touchdowns under his name.
