A stunning delivery by England bowler Kate Cross in the test match between the South African women’s cricket team and the England women’s cricket team in Taunton shook the South African batter, Andrie Steyn.

When England pacer Kate Cross entered the game to bowl the fifth over of the day, SA batsman Andrie Steyn was positioned at the wicket. Steyn made the decision to leave the third ball of the over, a cross delivery that was positioned at off-stump, however, the ball arrived late and rattled the South African batter’s stumps.

Eoin Morgan, the World Cup-winning captain of England, is due to announce his retirement from international cricket on Tuesday, according to the BBC, in a significant milestone for English cricket.

Morgan led England to their first significant limited-overs victory at the 2019 50-over World Cup to the top of the one-day and Twenty20 rankings.

However, the batter, who was born in Dublin and is 35 years old, has had trouble this year with his form and conditioning.

During the most recent ODI series against the Netherlands at Amstelveen, he was dismissed twice for zero runs and withdrew from the third game due to a groyne injury.

While the T20 World Cup in Australia gets underway in October, England and India will play each other in a three-match T20 international series beginning on July 7.

Vice-captain Jos Buttler would seem to be the favourite to succeed Morgan as England’s white-ball captain if he should actually retire prior to the 2023 50-over World Cup in India.

With 6,957 and 2,458 runs, respectively, Morgan is first all-time in ODI and T20 cricket for England. He has played in 225 ODIs and 115 T20Is, both records for England.

However, in his last 28 international innings in the two white-ball forms, he only managed to achieve two fifties.
