Erik Ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, swore during the post-match interview following a 2-1 win against Liverpool. This was United’s first win of the 2022 Premier League Season.

Sky Sports Presenter David Jones, who was present at the site of the interview, immediately apologized to his audience for the usage of the prohibited word on National Television.

Ten Hag was present with the Sky Sports team of analysts Jones, Gary Neville, Roy Keane and Jamie Carragher. Neville and Carragher played their entire careers at Man United and Liverpool respectively while Keane spent the majority of his career with the Red Devils.

“As you see, we bring attitude to the pitch. There was communication. There was fighting spirit,”  said Erik Ten Hag

“You can see what they can achieve because they can f*****g play football!” 

David Jones instantly interjected as he heard the cuss word being spoken beside him.

He said, “Sorry for the language if there was a little F-Bomb dropped in there we do apologise!”

Man United legend Gary Neville, who was present at the match in the capacity of a Pundit alongside Keane and Carragher seemed to enjoy the gaffe.

He jokingly responded, “I quite enjoyed it! Can we have more of that!”

With this win, United opened their scoring tally for the season, after being beaten in their opening two matches against Brighton, 2-1, and suffering a humiliating clean sweep against Brentford, 3-0. They move to the 14th spot with three points while Liverpool slip to the 16th spot with just two points and sit a couple of places above the relegation zone.

This is Liverpool‘s worst start to a Premier League season in the last 10 years.
