The New York Jets travelled to face the Denver Broncos in Week 7 of the 2022 NFL season on Sunday, October 23, at Empower Field at Mile High. While the visitors began the game brightly, they were soon hit by an injury to influential running back Breece Hall, who was carted off the field to the locker room.

As per the latest reports, the 21-year-old has been ruled out for the rest of the game with a knee injury that he suffered in the first half. The extent of his knee injury is yet to be made public.

The rookie running back was picked in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft by the New York Jets. Since then, he has made seven appearances for the Jets in the ongoing season, making his debut against the Baltimore Ravens in a 24-9 loss.

Hall scored a touchdown against the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Week 7 before he suffered the knee injury that forced him off the field and to the locker room. He registered 4 carries for 72 yards and 1 rushing touchdown against the Broncos before he was forced off the field.

Hall suffered the injury in the second quarter of the game against the Denver Broncos when he was hit hard by cornerback Patrick Surtain. After the hit, he looked visibly in pain and took some time to get up. He was quickly carried off the field to the medical tent before he went into the locker room.

The rookie running back has also registered 76 carries for 391 yards, 3 rushing touchdowns, 19 receptions for 218 yards, 1 receiving touchdown and 1 fumble in the 2022 NFL season so far.

The extent of his knee injury is yet to be announced by the New York Jets. However, in the worst-case scenario, the 21-year-old will be missing 4-6 weeks due to the injury, which will certainly be a major shock for the Jets in their season.
