Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens took a great catch from QB Mitch Trubisky in the first quarter of the team’s Thursday Night Football Match against the Cleveland Browns at the FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland.

The catch made Trubisky two of three for 49 yards on vertical passes for the game. The catch by Pickens reminded fans of a similar play by Odell Beckham Jr when he took a catch against the Dallas Cowboys while playing for the New York Giants then.

Pickens’ catch is similar to a reception made by the current free agent and former Cleveland Browns wide receiver, the New York Giants drafted Odell Beckham Jr. Beckham in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

While playing against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12 of his rookie season, Beckham caught a 43-yard one-handed touchdown reception from QB Eli Manning that was dubbed the “catch of the year.” ‘

It was one of the best catches ever,’ said American Broadcaster Cris Collingsworth, as did NBA’s LeBron James and many others.
