The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the Green Bay Packers in week 3 of the 2022 NFL season at the Raymond James Stadium. While Tampa Bay missed three of their most influential wide receivers in Julio Jones, Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, it was nose tackle Vita Vea who made the headlines.

The 350-pound nose tackle knocked the ball off from Packers running back Aaron Jones near the goal line to force a fumble. It also marked Vea’s first forced fumble of his career. The ball was subsequently recovered by safety Logan Ryan, who also marked his fourth recovery of his career as well as his first recovery while playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones was knocked by both Vea and linebacker Lavonte David to register the forced fumble.
