Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers engaged in a verbal exchange, which interested fans, at the Lambeau Stadium on Thursday. The two smirked as nose tackle Teair Tart lay on the ground and was treated for an apparent injury. 

Rodgers, who was sacked twice by former linebacker Vrabel twice, seemed to be inspecting Titans player Tart as he lay down. The quarterback murmured something to the Tennessee coach, who responded immediately.

Mike Vrabel’s response left Rodgers with a smirk. Meanwhile, fans wondered what the exchange was about. 

“Would give anything to know what Mike Vrabel said to Aaron Rodgers as he walked off the field,” a social media user tweeted. 

“Holding on the titans tf? And mike Vrabel chirpy Rodgers throw a 15-yarder on him 😂😂😂,” another one added. 

Before turning to the coach of the football game, Vrabel played 13 years in the National Football League. He was drafted in the third round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. After playing three years with the team, he joined New England Patriots as a free agent in 2000. He won three Super Bowls as a player in 2001, 2004 and 2005 and was part of New England’s 50th Anniversary and all-Decades team of 2000. In 2007, he got his first invitation to the Pro Bowl and also earned First-team All-Pro honors that season.

After eight years with the team, he got traded to the Kansas City Chiefs and played two seasons with the team before retiring in 2010. The best year of his career came in 2005, when he recorded 108 combined tackles with 73 combined and 25 assisted in them. 

In the NFL, he previously held the position of Linebackers coach and Defensive coordinator for the Houston Texans before getting the job of head coach of the Titans in 2018. As an HC, he has an overall record of 47-27 in the regular season and took the team to the AFC Championship game in 2019 where they were defeated by Kansas City Chiefs, 35-24.
