Tennessee Titans visit the cold state of Wisconsin to play against the Green Bay Packers in the NFL‘s Thursday Night Football game of Week 11. The game is played at Lambeau Field.

The temperature has been going down steadily but the fans present at the stadium have been unworried. It is -5 degree celsius at Green Bay’s home.

It is also called the frozen tundra. Four of the league’s coldest-ever games have been played at the same venue. The football stadium is the oldest in the league today.

Playing football in the cold is difficult, but there are some things players can do to stay warm on the field. Many players keep heat packs, hand-warmer muffs, helmets, uniforms, gloves, and other items in their pockets.

In addition to the heat packs, sideline heaters blast hot air onto the players to keep them warm. Finally, NFL players layer up for cold games, wearing face masks and sleeves to keep themselves as warm as possible on the field.

What is Green Bay’s record at Lambeau Field?

Packers have hosted a total of 381 games at the venue since 1922. The team has won 251 out of these while losing 124 and drawing 6 of them. The team has also played 25 post-season games here and has an 18-7 record.

As of 2021, the Denver Broncos are the only NFL team to have never won a regular-season game at Lambeau Field and have a 0-5 record.

Some interesting facts about Lambeau Field:

1) A 50-foot replica of the Lombardi Trophy can be found in the stadium. The trophy, which weighs 14.5 tonnes and is made of metal and foam, was unveiled in 2014. It lights up at night and can be seen from the street just outside the stadium.

2) The Field Surface is one-of-a-kind. Lambeau Field was the first American sports venue to use polyethylene-based SIS Grass as its playing surface in 2018. The transition from polypropylene fibers took five months. The synthetic fibers provide more stability to the sand beneath the playing surface, preventing bumps and uneven spots from forming over the course of the season.

3) A Two-Story Hall of Fame exists. The Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame has been housed within the Lambeau Field atrium since 2003. The Hall of Fame is two stories tall and approximately 15,000 square feet in size. It has more than 160 members.
