Tom Brady, NFL GOAT, finished his 2022 campaign with a defeat against the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round on Monday. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback is an unrestricted free agent again and his landing spot is one big question.

Brady has been mum about what’s next for him, saying he’ll take more time to make his decision.

“It’ll be one day at a time, truly,” the five-time Super Bowl MVP said after a 31-14 blowout loss against Dak Prescott’s Dallas.

The 45-year-old,  already retired once after last season only to return 40 days later. This season, returning for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady had 25 passing touchdowns, nine interceptions and 4694 passing yards.

Against the Cowboys, he threw a career-high 66 passes, completing 35 of them for for 351 yards, including second-half touchdowns of 30 yards to Julio Jones and 8 yards to Cameron Brate. He was sacked twice and also threw a costly red-zone interception – his first since coming to Tampa.

“Hopefully, you know, I love this organization. It’s a great place to be and thank you everybody for welcoming me. … Very grateful for the respect and hopefully I gave the same thing back to you guys,” Tom Brady told reporters.

Where does he go now?

Retirement talks have already begun. Brady is 45 years old, his stats graph is falling and an eighth Super Bowl seems like a distant possibility.

However, he has been linked to the Las Vegas Raiders, who are set to lose Derek Carr. The team did not qualify for post-season with their 6-11 record. They need a culture shift, a star quarterback who can drive them to success.

Reports also link Miami Dolphins and New York Jets to Brady. The former already have Tua Tagovailoa, who is recovering from his concussion, but the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle would like to see a Super Bowl winner, the league’s GOAT serving them in 2023.

Staying with the Bucs is still and option for Tom Brady. He could use his chemistry with the players to lead them to another championship.
