Diana Flores and Vanita Krouch. Flores will serve as the offensive coordinator at NFL’s Pro Bowl Games, to be held this weekend at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. It will feature skills competitions and a dodgeball game. the main event will be a flag football game.

There is a reason the league hired Flores and Krouch as they know flag football as well as anyone. Flores will serve as the offensive coordinator for the AFC team, while Krouch will handle offensive coordinator duties for the NFC.

Flores and Krouch are two of the most successful women in competitive flag football right now.

Who is Diana Flores?

Diana Flores has an impressive flag football background, according to the NFL’s press release announcing the Pro Bowl coaching staff. She is also known as Tochito.  Flores joined the Mexico Women’s Flag National Team in 2014 at 16 years of age. She led Mexico to a gold medal at The World Games in 2022.

Flores has played for 2014, 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2022 Mexico Women’s Flag National Teams. She is the only quarterback to beat NFC counterpart Krouch in an international tournament game. Krouch is otherwise 19-1 on that stage. She met with First Lady Jill Biden in January during an NFL event in Mexico.

Who is Vanita Krouch?

Krouch also has an outstanding flag football career. She took charge as quarterback of the United States Women’s Flag National Team in 2016. At the age of 41 years, Krouch was the oldest player at the 2022 World Games. She is 19-1 as the nation’s starting quarterback in international tournaments.

She has been highly successful in the US, but she also draws inspiration from her family’s dangerous journey out of Cambodia. Krouch was inducted into the National Flag and Touch Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
