Allie Baldelli, Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli’s wife, announced that the couple is having twins. The former put up an Instagram post on Wednesday night with their dog and first child holding a panel of ultrasound images.

“‘Two babies’…..she’s right! BOY TWINS due in September,” the caption read. Rocco and Allie Baldelli have one daughter – Louisa – who is two years old. They got married in 2021.

Baldelli has been Minnesota Twins’ manager for five years now. The team last won the 1987 and 1991 World Series. They lead the American League Central 26-24.

Rocco Baldelli is a former MLB outfielder. He manages the Minnesota Twins of the Major League Baseball (MLB).

He was born to Dan and Michele Baldelli in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The 41-year-old attended the PEGASUS Gifted and Talented middle-school program at La Salle Academy in Providence. He then went on to play for the Rhode Island Tides.

Baldelli joined Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick for high school. In 2005, channelopathy, a rare metabolic/muscular disorder, derailed his career. He missed significant time, finally retiring in 2010.

He signed as a free agent with the Boston Red Sox in 2009 and appeared in 62 games as a backup outfielder and part-time designated hitter. After retiring, he spent three years as a minor league instructor and special assistant to baseball operations at the Tampa Bay Rays. He was named the first base coach ahead of the 2014 season and was promoted to major league field coordinator in November 2017.
