Former Denver Broncos third-round pick Brendan Langley was arrested Monday after he was involved in a fight with an airport employee. A video showing the scuffle has gone viral.

Langley, who is now under contract with the Calgary Stampeders in the Canadian Football League, got involved in a feud at the airport recently.

He was charged with simple assault after getting into a fight with a United Airlines employee at Newark Liberty International Airport, TMZ reported.

“United Airlines does not tolerate violence of any kind at our airports or on board our planes and we are working with local authorities to further investigate this matter,” the airline said, according to Daily Mail.

The original video on Twitter has been viewed 12 million times and counting. The 27-year-old traded blows with the unnamed United Airlines worker.

It is believed that the fight began when Langley used a wheelchair to transport his luggage, instead of a paid-for luggage cart which cost $5. In the video, Langley appears to be slapped by the employee before punching the worker. The United Airlines employee falls over the check-in desk, stumbles and tries to confront Langley.

Langley was once a third-round draft selection and former four-star high school project who was drafted to the NFL as a cornerback ended up shifting to wide receiver, and has now made his way back to the cornerback position.

Langley was selected by the Broncos in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, and he made his NFL debut in the season opener against the Chargers. He finished the season with just three tackles in 11 games while playing mostly on special teams.
