Bojorquez verbally agreed to play college football for Sacramento State, but he later changed his mind. Instead, he chose to play for Cerritos College, a junior college that has produced dozens of players who have gone on to play professionally, in order to increase his chances of getting accepted into an FBS programme. However, he then transferred from Toledo and accepted an offer from New Mexico.

On May 14, 2018, Bojorquez agreed to a free agent contract with the New England Patriots. He only practised some punts during the break of the Patriots’ last preseason game; he never took a preseason snap. On September 1st, 2018, he was released.
