Wrestler Daniel Wheeler was arrested on Friday by the Orlando Police Department and is currently facing one count of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Following the arrest, Wheeler was booked in Circuit Court. “AEW has been made aware of the charge, and we are closely monitoring the situation. (Wheeler) is fully cooperating with local authorities,” All Elite Wrestling said in a statement following the arrest to Orlando Sentinel.
Wheeler had a warrant issued on July 28. He reportedly entered a plea of not guilty on August 3 and arrested this morning.

Wheeler is scheduled to fight with Dax Harwood against The Young Bucks at AEW All In on August 27 to defend the AEW World Tag Team Titles. FTR (Wheeler and Dax Harwood) is currently the AEW Tag Team Champions. Its a pay-per-view event at Wembley Stadium.

Daniel Wheeler is a professional wrestler who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name Cash Wheeler
Wheeler is also known for his time in WWE, under the ring name Dash Wilder. In WWE, he held both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships as well as the NXT Tag Team Championship and WWE 24/7 Championship.
He made his professional wrestling debut in 2005 under the ring name Steven Walters. He appeared for NWA Anarchy, where he won both the NWA Anarchy Television Championship and the NWA Anarchy Tag Team Championship.

Wheeler signed with WWE in 2014. At the time he took the ring name Dash Wilder which was given to him by Dusty Rhodes. Wheeler wanted to call his character “Cash” instead of “Dash”, but Rhodes preferred the latter because it reminded him of his son Cody’s nickname, “Dashing.”
He formed a tag-team with Scott Dawson. The two performing extensively at live events under the name The Mechanics. From February 2016, the duo began performing under the team name The Revival. The Revival was drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2019 WWE Draft. On April 10, 2020, both Wilder and his tag team partner Dawson were released from their WWE contracts.
Wheeler stated in a May 2020 interview that all of his matches up to that point, his favorite were live event matches between The Revival and American Alpha during their NXT days.
