Davante Adams is a wide receiver who plays for the NFL team Las Vegas Raiders. A photographer who was shoved to the ground by Davante Adams during Raider’s match with Kansas City Chiefs on Monday reported the footballer to the police, TMZ reported.

NFL said that they have initiated an investigation against Adams, and as per the latest reports, he might face a fine and suspension. The photographer told TMZ that he was hurt and was taken to a hospital after the incident.

Adams later apologised to the photographer saying: “I shouldn’t have responded that way, but that’s how I initially responded. So, I want to apologize to him for that.” 

Who is Davante Adams? 

Davante Adams was born on 

December 24, 1992, in Redwood City, California to Douglas Adams and Pamela Brown. The 29-year-old has one brother and two sisters. 

Adams is one of the NFL’s top-rated wide receivers who started his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers. He attended Palo Alto High School and later went on to join Fresno State University, in California. He played for the college football team Fresno State Bulldogs from 2011 to 2013.

It was during his time at Fresno that Adams met his wife Devanne Villarreal. He proposed Devanne in the Bahamas in 2017, and they got married on June 12, 2018. They don’t have any children yet.

Adams got drafted into the NFL in 2014 when he joined the Green Bay Packers and signed a contract with them on June 12. His NFL debut came against the Seattle Seahawks when he played as the number four receiver for the Packers. 

He stayed with the Packers for seven consecutive seasons since being drafted in 2014. He switched teams in March 2022 when he joined the Las Vegas Raiders for the ongoing 2022 NFL season.

Adams’ net worth is estimated at $25 million.
