Dave Moretti, a judge for Devin Haney vs Vasyl Lomachenko on Saturday, was trolled after an alleged result card image showed that he might have given a biased decision.

Haney won the lightweight bout by a unanimous decision.

After the bout, several social media users alleged that the judges filled out result cards last minute. They added that the decision was biased. Dave Moretti was trolled.

Tim Cheatham and David Sutherland scored the match 115-113 and Dave Moretti went 116-112.

“Dave Moretti needs to be sent out to pasture for giving Haney the 10th round. Sickening,” a Twitter user said.

“Dave Moretti is high. In rounds 6-12 all the momentum was on Loma and I only gave Haney one round in the final 6. Moretti only gave Loma one round. But don’t be confused, all 3 of those cards are absolute travesties. All 3 judges smoked from the same crack pipe,” another one added.

“Dave Moretti scored rounds 7, 8, 9, AND 10 in favor of Devin Haney. Round 10 was VERY CLEARLY Vasiliy Lomachenko’s. Loma was convincing in Round 3 too Tim Cheatham gave it to Haney Amazing fight, I disagree with these specific round scores tho,” a third one tweeted.

Loma’s manager Egis Klimas said that they protested Dave Moretti’s appointment as the fight’s judge but the NSAC said that he is one of their best.

With the win vs Loma, Devin Haney retained his titles at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

“Lomachenko is a future Hall of Famer,” Haney said. “It was a blessing. He was my toughest opponent. He was very crafty. He turns it up in the championship rounds. (This fight) put me in the history books forever.”
