Trinity Rodman has a surname of one of the most renowned – and infamous – sports stars in American history. However, the 21-year-old US Women’s National Team stand-out has always wished to “own” the name on the back of her jersey.

Rodman’s father is NBA legend, Dennis Rodman. Over the course of his Hall of Fame basketball career, the tireless rebounder and defender won five NBA titles, two with the “Bad Boy” Detroit Pistons and three with Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls.

He is known for his aggressive defensive and rebounding ability. He was known as ‘the Worm'[2] and played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks. Rodman’s No. 10 jersey was retired by the Pistons on April 1, 2011, and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame later that year. Rodman was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in October 2021, which recognized him as one of the league’s best players of all time.

Rodman had a troubled life and was shy and reserved as a young child. He reinvented himself as a “bad boy” after failing a suicide attempt in 1993 and rose to notoriety for a number of contentious actions. He frequently colored his hair fake colors, had numerous piercings and tattoos, and frequently fought with opposition players and referees during games to cause disruptions.

When promoting his memoirs Bad as I Wanna Be in 1996, he made headlines by donning a bridal gown. Rodman had a public relationship with Madonna and was temporarily wed to Carmen Electra, an actress. In 2013, Rodman’s trips to North Korea and subsequent friendship with Kim Jong Un garnered him notice on a global scale.

Rodman has participated in professional wrestling as well as being a former professional basketball player, which includes competing with Hulk Hogan in the main event of two Bash at the Beach pay-per-views and being a part of the nWo. Rodman was the first-ever Celebrity Championship Wrestling champion in the history of professional wrestling.

Both movies received negative reviews, with the former garnering Rodman three Razzie Awards. He participated in a number of reality TV shows and won the $222,000 top prize in the Celebrity Mole competition in 2004.

Rodman has had three marriages. His first marriage to Annie Bakes lasted for two years, from 1992 to 1993. His second marriage, to Carmen Electra, lasted just two years, from 1998 to 1999. After a turbulent marriage, Rodman’s third wife, Michelle Moyer, and he divorced in 2012 from each other. Dennis Rodman Jr. and Trinity Rodman were the couple’s two children, born during their marriage to Michelle.
