Devin Marcel White is a 23-year-old professional footballer
who plays in the National Football League for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the linebacker position. He hails
from Cotton Valley in Northern Louisiana. Coming from a small town, the youngster
is very close to his family, especially his mother Coesha Standokes. He lost
his brother when he was 13-years-old.

He attended the North Webster High School located in
Springhill where he played as the standout linebacker and running back for the
school’s football team. The young lad was a controversial figure in his schooling
days, having been arrested by the police on more than one occasion.

White completed his college education at the Louisiana State
University and enjoyed a flourishing football career as part of the team. He spent
three years with the team and played 34 games in those seasons.

In his sophomore year at the University, he ended the season
with the fourth-most tackles in a single season in the history of the school
with 133 to his name.

He was the fifth overall pick in the first round of the 2019
NFL Draft and was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2019, he signed a
four year contract worth $29.32 million including a signing bonus of $19.34
million which made him the highest drafted linebacker in the school’s history.

Devin is an avid horse lover and has been riding horses
since a very young age. He has taken his horse named Daisy Mae for a ride
around the LSU’s campus and stadium. The footballer has also referred to the horse
as his daughter. He manages to make time for her in spite of his busy schedule.
 

Now, he dons the number 45 jersey for the Buccaneer’s at the
Raymond James Stadium. Thanks to his leadership ability and maturity he has
been the right fit for the team for his role and responsibilities.

He is playing his third season as a professional and in the
2020 season he managed to record 140 tackles and nine sacks in 15 games.
