Uruguay forward Edinson Cavani on Friday slammed the VAR
screen in disdain after the full-time whistle went off in his side’s game
against Ghana at the Al Janoub Stadium. In a video that went viral on social
media, Valencia forward can be seen pushing the pedestal on which the VAR
screen was placed before heading into the tunnel.

The South American nation was leading their opponents 2-0
and heading into the knockout stage as runners-up in Group H. That was until
South Korea struck a late winner in the group’s other fixture against Portugal
to leave Uruguay requiring another goal to progress on goal difference.
