Federico Anthony Warner, who was born on November 19, 1996 is an American football player for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He serves as a linebacker for the team.

He used to play college football at BYU. In 2018,he was drafted by the 49ers in the third round of the NFL Draft. He was born in San Marcos, California. He started playing football at seven, after experimenting with different sports. He used to admire Charger players. He grew up as a fan of  the Dallas Cowboys along with his father .

Warner went to Mission Hills high school in California. He played as a linebacker on the football team. He became a starter in his junior year and there he was recognized for his strengths as an outside linebacker. He was subsequently named the All San Diego Section Defensive player of the year. He also earned the title of Avocado East League Defensive Player of the year. 

Fred was raised in The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When he mentioned his football ambitions to his ward, an alum from BYU, who was a fellow ward member , helped him to get his highlight reel to Kelly Poppinga. He became his lead recruiter. 

While being a true freshman at BYU, Warner registered 24 total tackles, one for loss, one interception and one pass breakup. He ranked 2nd in school history among linebackers in his seven career interceptions.

In  November 2017, he accepted his invitation to play in the 2018 Senior Bowl. Fred was projected to be a second round pick by the majority of NFL Draft experts and scouts , at the conclusion of the pre draft process.

Warner graduated from BYU with a degree in exercise and wellness in December 2017.  On May 15, 2021, he got engaged to an influencer named Sydney Hightower.
