Ike Brown will
play for the Las Vegas Raiders against Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tom Benson
Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio Thursday. The cornerback is among three
other USFL (United States Football League) players playing the game. The
Raiders have kept adding new playmakers in a bid to compete for an active roster
spot ahead of training camp.

Isaiah Ike Brown was
signed on by the Las Vegas Raiders in July. He is coming off after having
played in the 2022 Inaugural USFL season for the New Orleans Breakers. In the
seven games he played for the Breakers, Brown registered 14 tackles (eight
solo) and two interceptions, including a 97-yard pick-six.

Brown stood tall for
the Breakers defences and did not allow a single touchdown score the whole
season. He was part of a defence team that allowed the least number of points
scored (164).

Ike Brown had
originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent (UDFA) with the Buffalo
Bills. He was later put on the reserve list during training camp.

Before making his
way into the National Football League, Ike Brown had played 41 games at the
Florida International University. Brown appeared in 41 games with 23 starts and
has 102 tackles to his name in addition to 102 tackles, 29 passes defenced, one
fumble recovery and five interceptions.

Born on April 28,
1998, the 24-year-old cornerback from Tampa, Florida has played a total if four
seasons with the Florida International University between 2016 and 2019.

Along with Isaiah
Ike Brown, two other USFL players – Kyle Sloter and Isaiah Zuber – will also
play the Hall of Fame game Thursday. Sloter has played for Denver Broncos,
Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears and Raiders.
In one season with the New Orleans Breakers, Sloter threw for 1,798 yards and
nine touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Isaiah
Zuber led the USFL in receiving touchdowns with five and Brown had 16 tackles
and two interceptions in the season.
