Jerry Reinsdorf, the owner of the White Sox, is disputing the idea that a gun was used in the Guaranteed Rate Field incident.
In a gunshot that happened during the team’s 12-4 loss to Oakland last week, two ladies were hurt. The incident is being looked into by Chicago police, including if the gun was fired inside or outside of the building.
According to interim Chicago Police Department Superintendent Fred Waller, the notion that the rounds came from outside the field has almost been completely ruled out.
