Kadarious Toney experienced many highs and lows during his debut season last year as he battled injuries that limited him to just 10 games. Although the rookie’s 189-yard outburst against Dallas Cowboys demonstrated his tremendous potential, he played seven games with 40 or fewer yards. According to Pro Football Focus, Toney finished 2021 as the second-most productive rookie receiver per route. This can be his breakout season, especially under new coach Brian Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

Kadarious Toney is an American football wide receiver for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Born on January 27, 1999, he played college football at Florida and was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Toney received scholarship offers from a number of colleges. Finally, he settled on Florida as his college of choice. Toney was a reliable player for the Gators from his freshman through junior seasons. Toney decided not to participate in the 2020 Cotton Bowl Classic in order to get ready for the 2021 NFL Draft.

The 20th overall choice in the 2021 NFL Draft went to Toney, who was chosen by the New York Giants. On June 4, 2021, he agreed to a $13.7 million, four-year contract. When training camp began, Toney was added to the team’s COVID-19 reserve list. Toney had only four receptions over the first three games, which was a sluggish start.
Toney had six receptions for 78 yards in the Week 4 victory over the New Orleans Saints (27-21 in overtime). Toney had the best game of his career in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys, recording 10 catches for 189 yards and breaking Odell Beckham Jr.’s Giants receiving record for a rookie. However, Toney was dismissed for punching Cowboys safety Damontae Kazee during the 44-20 loss.

Due to an injury, Toney was out for four weeks of the season. Toney was once again added to the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 13, 2021. Toney finished the season with the second-most receiving yards on the Giants despite playing in only ten games.
