Broncos safety Kareem Jackson has made headlines for the second week in a row due to an illegal hit on an opposing wide receiver. He is being circled for two fatal hits on Logans Thomas and Jackobi Meyers.

Jackson struck receiver Logan Thomas in the head during the contest versus the Commanders just as Thomas was making a touchdown reception. Thomas miraculously managed to get the ball in the end zone. He did not leave the field, though, and went through a concussion exam after the game.

Following Jackson’s hit on Raiders receiver Jakobi Meyers the week before, this incident happened. Jackson struck Meyers in the head during a catch over the middle, forcing Meyers to leave the game. Jackson was slammed with a 15-yard penalty, and the NFL fined Jackson $14,819 as a result of that hit.

Who is Kareem Jackson?

Kareem Jackson is an accomplished American football safety, who currently plays for the Denver Broncos in the NFL. Jackson developed his abilities at the University of Alabama, where he was named a two-time All-SEC performer. His professional career began when the Houston Texans selected him in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft (20th overall).

Jackson is renowned for his flexibility, and has thrived in a variety of defensive positions, showcasing competence as both a cornerback and a safety. He stands out for his excellent ball-handling skills and strong tackling methods. Jackson has played a significant role on defensive teams during his lengthy career in addition to his contributions on the field.
