Logan Webb was born in Rocklin, California, on November 18, 1996. He attended Rocklin High School where he played both football and baseball and graduated in 2014. Prior to being drafted, he was committed to Cal Poly. Soon after he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the fourth round of the 2014 MLB June Amateur Draft.

According to Bleacherreport, he was San Francisco Giants’ first high school player to be drafted in 2014. Interestingly, he made it as the CAL Mid-Season All-Star in 2018.

Logan Webb debuted in the major league for the Giants in August 2019 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Web clocked in 48 games, out of which he started 45, in his first three seasons with the Giants. He has recorded 241 strikeouts and 74 walks, scoring a career ERA of 3.94. He ranked first in the NL for being hit by pitch (HBP) with 7 in 2020

Furthermore, Logan Webb has five pitches in his repertoire, including Slider, Changeup, 4-Seam Fastball, Sinker and Cutter. According to baseballsavant.mlb.com, “His fastball on average is about 93 mph. It tops out at 96.2 mph.”

As far as his personal life is concerned, Webb proposed to his girlfriend Sharidan Morales in January 2020 and then went on to make an announcement on Instagram.

In fact, he is pretty active on Twitter where he shares a lot of memes.

Webb’s former high school baseball coaches shared how they felt about his success with ABC10.

“This is Logan, this is how he is,” said one of his coaches. “This is what he did here…coming from a sophomore down on the JV field up here to the varsity field, watching him progress every year coming out of football. Everybody is shocked but it doesn’t shock me at all.”
