The Los Angeles Rams have made a significant change to their special teams ahead of their encounter with the Cowboys.

The debut of freshly signed kicker Lucas Havrisik in an upcoming NFL regular-season game has been announced by head coach Sean McVay. Furthermore, a calf ailment could keep right tackle Rob Havenstein out of action, which could open the door for backup Joe Noteboom to start.

Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is keeping his focus on the game and is open to the idea of the Rams adding players to their roster through trades. But there are certain urgent problems the club needs to solve, like stopping Dallas’ pass rush and making sure huge plays downfield are checked.

Who is Lucas Havrisik?

Lucas Havrisik is currently a member of the Los Angeles Rams football team, playing as an American football placekicker. He started playing football at Norco High School, where he was a standout punter and kicker and was named the 2017 All-CIF Southern Section Special Teams Player of the Year.

Havrisik committed to the Arizona Wildcats in 2018. He redshirted his freshman year and spent the next four seasons as a placekicker and kickoff specialist. Interestingly, he set the record at Arizona for the longest field goal made, making two of them from 57 yards. In 2020 and 2021, he was named an honorable mention on the Pac-12 team.

He joined the Indianapolis Colts in 2022 as an undrafted free agent after completing his college career. But in September of the same year, he was cut from the Colts practice squad.

He then signed with the practice squad of the Cleveland Browns in November 2022, and he was elevated to the active roster for two games. Havrisik finally signed with the Los Angeles Rams in March 2023.
