Masada, an independent wrestler, burned his face and torso severely when he unintentionally set himself on fire while attempting a trick.

The unfortunate incident took place on April 22, while Masada was attempting to blow a fireball at his opponent during an XPW Wrestling deathmatch match in Pomona, California.

Who is Masada ?

Brigham Paul Doane, better known by his ring name Masada, was born on June 16, 1981, and he currently competes in Xtreme Pro Wrestling.

He is the present XPW World Heavyweight Champion.

At the Texas Wrestling Academy, Doane received instruction from Shawn Michaels and Rudy Boy Gonzalez. As a member of The Carnage Crew with HC Loc, DeVito, and eventually Justin Credible, he moved to Ring of Honor after making his professional wrestling debut in the Coastalase States Wrestling Alliance (CSWA). They would engage in several tag matches together in wrestling.

In six-man mayhem matches, he also competed, demonstrating that despite his bulk, he could still move rapidly and keep up with the smaller opponents. Masada and the rest of The Carnage Crew defeated Special K in the main event of At Our Best, winning the second-ever Scramble Cage. The Carnage Crew and Special K have been at odds. But in the locker room, The Carnage Crew’s celebration with Rhodes was cut short when it was discovered that someone had urinated in Loc and DeVito’s luggage.

He is best known for his performances in the following professional wrestling organizations: Ring of Honor (ROH), Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Anarchy Championship Wrestling (ACW), Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw), Full Impact Pro (FIP), NWA Wildside, and his tours with Big Japan Pro Wrestling (BJW). Additionally, he has competed in matches for the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), and All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Former CZW World Heavyweight Champion Masada also held the CZW Ultraviolent Underground Championship at one point.
