Who is Mason Greenwood?
Mason Greenwood was born on October 1, 2022, in Bradford, West Yorkshire. He was arrested in January 2022 after being accused of assault by his former girlfriend Harriet Robson. She posted pictures of injuries that she claimed she incurred from physical abuse by the England international.
He was also under investigation on suspicion of rape following audio released by Robson where she is heard saying that she does not want to have sex, while the footballer is heard replying that he doesn’t care. When being asked to stop again, the footballer is allegedly heard saying: “I asked you politely, and you wouldn’t do it, so what else do you want me to do?”
Within hours of Robson going public with the allegations, he was suspended from playing and training with the club until further notice. Nike also ended his sponsorship deal and he was also removed from the active squads in Electronic Arts FIFA games.
