Mathias Pogba is the elder brother of footballer Paul Pogba and has recently accused the French midfielder of an assortment of wrongdoings from being steeped in witchcraft to putting a curse on France’s golden boy Kylian Mbappe

The Juventus star has responded to this, saying that Mathias is a part of a gang that’s trying to extort him, and a police investigation has been launched into the matter.

Who is Mathias Pogba?

Mathias, in the Instagram video – promising revelations about Paul Pogba – noted that he’s a professional footballer. The 32-year-old most recently played for Championnat National 2 club Belfort, as a forward.

Born on August 19, 1990, Mathias became a youth player for Celta Vigo and had a brief stint for Quimper before following his more famous brother to the United Kingdom. There, he played for Wrexham and Crewe Alexandra, before moving to the Italian Serie B side Pescara, back in 2014. Mathias again returned to England, a few months later, signing with Crawley Town.

There were short stints at Scotland’s Partick Thistle and with the Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam. Mathias then joined Tours in September 2018. He’s played for two Spanish clubs Manchego and Lorca, in the 2019-2020 season.

Although born in Paris, Mathias is a Guinean and made his international debut against Senegal in 2013, coming off the bench to play alongside his twin Florentin, who’s presently playing for Indian club ATK Mohun Bagan.

When Paul was at Manchester United, Mathias lived with him in England. This was the time the older sibling was at Wrexham.

Mathias responded to his younger brother’s accusations in a series of tweets, which translate to “Paul, you wanted to shut me up to lie and send me to prison. I suspected it and now it’s true. My version of the facts happens and unlike you, I have enough to prove my words and your lies. I’ll tell you again: brother, manipulating people is not good!”
